All digital products, applications, and services distributed under this domain and affiliated Google Play Store developer listings are officially governed and managed by Clearflow AI Technologies.
1. Information We Collect
ClearFlow English collects minimal information required to personalize and deliver your learning experience:
- Account Identifiers: Your name and registered email address (via OTP verification or Google Single Sign-On).
- Learning Progress & Streaks: Daily practice timestamps, completed dialogue sessions, review streaks, and accuracy metrics.
- Word Vault & SRS Data: English words, definitions, Hindi translations, and spaced repetition review intervals saved by you.
- Device Push Subscriptions: Browser web-push tokens, solely used to deliver practice habit alerts with your consent.
2. Device Hardware Permissions: Microphone, Camera & Audio Processing
ClearFlow English requests device hardware permissions strictly for interactive learning features:
- Microphone Permission (AI Conversation Coach & Pronunciation Scoring): Required when you tap the microphone to practice spoken English dialogues, shadow pronunciation models, or take spoken fluency workouts. Speech recognition is processed in real time (ephemeral/transient) to provide immediate feedback; we do NOT passively listen to or store background audio. Where applicable (such as AI chat dialogues), learners may also interact using their device's on-screen keyboard.
- Microphone & Camera Permissions (1-on-1 Peer Practice Calls): When you choose to initiate or join a live peer English conversation session, our platform requests microphone and camera access to facilitate direct real-time communication between learning partners. Video is completely optional; users can practice in audio-only mode.
- Zero Call Recording & Ephemeral Processing: Live peer audio and video streams are transmitted peer-to-peer (via encrypted WebRTC protocols). Clearflow AI Technologies does NOT record, tap, monitor, or store your live 1-on-1 voice or video conversations on any server. Any speech processed for AI analysis is discarded immediately after generating your feedback score.
- User-Controlled & Granular Permissions: Camera and microphone permissions are runtime permissions—they are only requested when you explicitly tap a voice/video feature, never upon general app browsing. You can revoke these permissions at any time in your device settings.
3. Personal AI Keys Security
If you choose to use your personal Google AI Studio (Gemini) or Groq API key for unlimited AI interactions:
- Your key is encrypted and securely stored in your private user account profile solely to execute your personal AI tutoring requests.
- We never sell, distribute, or use your personal key for any purpose other than executing your tutoring requests.
4. Zero Third-Party Advertising & No Data Resale
We are an educational platform. We do NOT sell, rent, trade, or monetize your personal data with third-party advertisers, data brokers, or marketing networks. ClearFlow English is 100% ad-free.
5. Data Security & Storage
All data exchanged between your browser and our servers is secured using industry-standard 256-Bit SSL/TLS encryption (HTTPS). Our backend infrastructure is maintained on secure cloud enterprise services with strict access controls.
6. Account & Data Deletion Policy (Your Right to Erasure)
ClearFlow English (developed and operated by Clearflow AI Technologies) respects your fundamental right to control and permanently delete your personal information and learning records at any time.
📌 How to Request Account & Data Deletion:
- In-App Self Service: Open ClearFlow English, navigate to Settings (⚙️) → scroll to the bottom → tap "🗑️ Delete Account & Data" and confirm.
- Direct Email / Web Request: If you cannot access the app, you may email our dedicated data desk at support@clearflowai.in from your registered email address with the subject line "Delete My Account".
🗑️ What Data is Permanently Deleted:
- Account Profile & Credentials: Registered name, email address, and authentication credentials.
- Learning Progress & Records: Daily practice streaks, habit logs, highway XP milestones, and completed dialogues.
- Vocabulary & SRS Vault: All saved English words, custom notes, review cards, and spaced repetition intervals.
- Speech & Assessment Logs: All pronunciation fluency logs, phoneme scores, and dialogue transcripts.
⏱️ Retention & Turnaround Period:
Once submitted, your account profile and all associated data records are permanently wiped from our production databases within 48 to 72 hours. We do NOT retain any personal or learning data after account deletion.
7. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect new learning features or regulatory requirements. Continued use of the service signifies acceptance of updated terms.
